Fireside Blend

Created for gathering. 

Our cosy festive season blend Fireside returns. This dessert-like Guatemalan/Colombian blend is reminiscent of sticky toffee, chocolate, and dried cherry. To be shared with the people that matter to you. Brew it any way you like but we recommend immersion style brewing (cafetière/french press) to highlight the full body and sweetness of this limited-time blend. 

Fireside Blend is a collaborative coffee we created with the wonderful people at Crafting Together, a social enterprise in Clydebank that provides positive work opportunities for people with Learning Disabilities in West Dunbartonshire through creative skills development in a supportive and safe environment. Crafting Together showcases the creative talents of Artists and Makers with Learning Disabilities. Through a series of workshops, a collective of makers and artists were commissioned to design the label artwork for Fireside. Fireside comes in one size, 250g, and is composed of beans from Colombia (50%) and Guatemala (50%). 

About the origins:

Colombia: a washed processed Castillo bean produced by Oscar Daza at La Pradera farm in Santander. 

Guatemala: a washed processed mix of Bourbon/Caturra/Pache beans produced by 550 smallholder producers in Tajumuco (Huehuetenango).
